Honestly, this course is good for expanding your practice. I came in wanting to build on what I already knew, and it definitely delivered. It really pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to pick up totally new skills and technical processes that I hadn't even considered before. DMU is the right place If you want to develop a strong portfolio and figure out your creative voice. read more

The Students’ Union is a real highlight: organized, supportive, and always putting on events. awful university wasted 4 years of my life here my dad passed away and the councilling services were fantastic but there is zero and i mean zero support within your classes personal tutors don’t ever speak to you or acknowledge your existence. I even had a submission accused of ai? i emailed them for months on it and when i would get my mark and suprise suprise they had just forgotten my work existed or just couldn’t be bothered to mark it. also the city sucks you might even get stabbed. read more

I’ve lived at the iQ for 2 years and I have no complaints whatsoever. The location is incredibly convenient for students, being close to both city centre and campus. The staff are absolutely brilliant - shoutout to Chris and Ahmed, you both are fantastic and so friendly. 10/10 I would recommend to all Leicester students. Only regrets is not having lived here since 1st year!! :) read more

DMU offers a wide range of resources for students, although the challenge is often knowing where to find everything. Overall, it is a great university if you value fairness, diversity, and inclusion, and if you want to develop your creativity within an academic environment. The campus internet could use some tweaking. read more

DMU is great for some courses but then not so great for others, learning as become mainly online with heavy content being given via podcasts but overall if you can keep up with the 4 hour podcasts then it’s an alright university read more

I’ve had a positive experience studying at De Montfort University. The campus and facilities are very good, especially the library and the modern buildings, which create a really comfortable and motivating environment for studying. There’s also a wide range of clubs and societies to join, so students have plenty of opportunities to meet new people, try different activities, and get involved in university life. The Students’ Union is organised, active, and supportive, which makes a big difference to the overall student experience. One of my favourite things about DMU is the excellent careers support and advice available to students. The university provides a lot of guidance and opportunities that help students feel more prepared for their future careers. The WiFi across campus is also excellent and reliable, which is very helpful for studying and completing coursework. read more
