Its a good university and is growing. Just financially, for PhD students, it would be good to think a bit more about self funded students, especially international students. They undergo enormous pressure to work part-time and earn a basic living wage. read more

Very good so far, everyone is friendly and the classes are engaging. Haven't used the careers service yet, but they send out helpful emails and have had fairs that I couldn't attend. They're very active and seem to be helping those who seek it. The internet is sometimes a bit iffy on mobile but otherwise works well. read more

Abertay university is a great place to study they have a lot of facilities for game focused courses like ps5 dev kits and high tech computers which genuinely helps students if they don't have 1 of their own.As an international student I was stunned to see they were also giving long term loan laptops for the entirety for the course for free which is helping me daily to complete assignments and tasks.The king Bernard library is a very spacious area just to study they have computers TVs printers private rooms for group studying etc it's also very quiet and no one disturbs you when you are studying but one thing I didn't like was the timings it's only open for 8 am to 9pm which is a little less if someone wants to study in the morning or late night otherwise it's very good. Overall facilities provided by the university is top notch. And I would recommend this university to more international or domestic students as well. read more

Large space, staff help when trying to find rooms if you're unfamiliar. Not a lot of help when you struggle mentally as my request for counselling was ignored twice. Good lecturers for the most part, although the uni doesn't do much about one that invited JIMs, said slurs, etc. despite many students sending in complaints. read more
