The facilities for the allied health department are fantastic, perhaps only surpassed by the team and staff themselves. Every lecturer across the board has a genuine investment in the students, they are friendly and approachable, knowledgeable and very supportive. I cannot compliment them enough, and would recommend anyone considering a degree in the allied health professions to seriously consider Wrexham University. read more

Avoid this place like the plague. Caused me nothing but stress. Between changing my entire course from an art degree to a computing degree, to sending me threatening emails demanding 9k despite it already veing paid by student finance, to telling a friend thwir course was worth squat due to an enrollment error on their end, this place has just brought pain. The location is abysmal (the area is a ghost town of drunks and spice addicts), the teaching is hit or miss and the administration is a joke. This place does not care about your education, they want your money to improve their image, nothing more. read more

The art school is rife with bullying, nepotistic behaviour where students progress due to their popularity with staff rather than merit. There is a sickening underlying clique that is bereft of talent or creativity and ostracise those who don’t adhere to it sycophantic nature. There is no accountability, teaching is poor, staff do not accept challenge, debate or critism so there is no chance of improvement either side of the creative void. A stagnant pool of rotten fish. read more

Used to be better. Things have changed. Students are now just "things" that bring in more budget for the main organisation to spend on shiny areas so that new parents will decide to bring their kid here. read more

Plus point- next to football ground, pubs and train station. Everything else you look for in a university is terrible. No facilities, majority of tutors are terrible narcissistic bullies, those that are are sappy woolly liberals. Cliquey culture, bullying goes unchallenged, corse modules are weak and tutor dismissive of change. Very very poor, grow your uni debt somewhere that’s worth it. £9k? 9 pence is too good read more
