If anyone knows how to kill interest in THE most sought after career in the world its UWE Bristol. The course in a complete shambles, with every module being its own seperate contained shpiel of assorted researchers who dont want to be teaching. The uni tells us that the BRL is so advanced and amazing, but you cant go in there or talk to anyone!! All modules assume a semi decent experience in electric engineering even though only maths is a requirement when signing up. Projects all rely on groups with very poor ways of marking individual contributions in said groups. Unhelpful "information handbooks" and a Byzantine labyrinth of a uni work webpage. I would recommend you talk to homeless men about robots than most of the lecturers. If you think "hey at least ill get career prospects" let me say this. If an emplyer has robots that have electrical faults, they will hire an electrical engineer. Same with mechanical faults. oh and did i mention, you dont get to build a robot until your diss
