The facilities are fine and well organised and most areas are good to get to as long as you have lectures on the same campus, the second campus is harder to get to but there is a shuttle bus to take you there but obviously this isn’t perfect for everyone The are so many clubs and societies for a variety of interests and the international students add an extra layer of culture and intrigue for any student to learn about There is nothing wrong with the SU, with many games, a bar, and even occasional events downstairs and many in the bar itself such as karaoke, bingo and trivia Careers services are also strong with (at least on my course) the second year being dedicated to giving students career opportunities during the year in placement, giving real world experience to the students before graduation Internet is good with it available in all buildings on campus and in accommodation however it isn’t the strongest as so many people use it at once read more

As an international student, my experience at the university has been incredibly welcoming and enriching. From the very beginning, I felt comfortable approaching anyone for help, and everyone has been so kind and supportive. I truly appreciate how talented and motivated the students are—it inspires me to learn more every day. Meeting people from different countries and discovering their cultures has broadened my perspective and made my journey even more meaningful. One of my favourite aspects of university life is the wide variety of clubs and activities. I’ve joined several, and I love how everyone learns from one another and works together to grow. Academically, the teachers are friendly and explain lessons in simple, engaging ways that make studying enjoyable and easy to follow. I’ve also loved attending cultural festivals on campus and trying new foods. Overall, my experience has been exciting, inspiring, and full of opportunities to learn and grow. read more

Campus in the sense of an international student's first time in the UK. I am pleased by the available facilities at the touch of our fingertips. The grounds are always spick and span with the warmth radiated from the staff and student community. With the inclusion of clubs and societies, meeting and interacting with other students of different backgrounds makes it a surreal experience that the SU offers. What stands out the most is how integrated the university is with technology and sustainability. The use of natural lighting and motion detectors to cut out the need for electricity is an outstanding innovation, I believe, that would benefit other universities if given the chance. In all, I love the campus grounds, staff, student community, and the overall future I am able to create thanks to the opportunity to be in SU read more

The university is nice and spacious, has good facilities, but there’s some issues. The Macs aren’t great and have a lot of issues, the WiFi usually disconnects whenever my phone screen turns off. Overall though, the university is pretty good. read more
