One of the things I like most is the wide range of opportunities and facilities available to students. The university has a really welcoming and diverse environment, and as an international student, I think that’s especially important because you get to meet people from different countries and backgrounds. I also really appreciate how supportive and approachable the lecturers are and how the university focuses on preparing students for their future careers, not just teaching theory. There are plenty of opportunities to develop new skills, gain practical experience and access career support, which I find really valuable. Another thing I love is the campus itself, especially the modern facilities, library and different spaces where students can study or spend time together. UWL is not very accommodating to disabled students, and their lecturers do not seem to care much about their students. I have emailed my lecturers for help in modules and they have flat out said that they couldn’t help, they didn’t even bother to accommodate. However, I think their careers and jobs services are excellent and the admissions team are very helpful and friendly. read more
