Studying at the University of West London has been a mixed but ultimately worthwhile experience. UWL’s strength lies in its career-focused approach — many courses are designed with industry input, and the university actively promotes employability through placements and practical learning. The Ealing campus is modern and well-connected, offering access to central London while maintaining a quieter, more affordable environment. Support services are generally responsive, and I’ve found some academic staff to be genuinely committed to student success. However, there are areas that need improvement. Student societies and campus culture feel underdeveloped, which can make it harder to build a sense of community. Some modules suffer from inconsistent teaching quality, especially when leadership changes mid-course. Facilities are decent, but soundproofing in accommodation and lecture halls could be better. I think the MBA course was not well organised at the university. Half of the professors were not qualified to teach at the university at all. Out of 42 students, only 12 were present in class. Most of them were working, while full-time work is against the law. read more

UWL is a pretty good school the courses themselves are taught by professionals who have experience in the field, the clubs are lacking a bit as they are not too expansive but still have a selection, the SU is pretty good, and careers help you with your CV and looking for jobs, overall its an alright school the most difficult bit is getting emails back from other sections like finance. read more
