The welcoming day was super cool and fun. The welcoming group and the student union were very friendly and welcoming to the new students, who were a bit nervous, talking with everyone and giving a tour of the university in the best way possible. The campus and the facilities are great so far, and the wifi is easily accessible in every part of the rooms. The staff is super friendly. Overall, I am having the best experience. read more

I transferred to the University of West London after completing my foundation year at Arden, which I didn’t particularly enjoy. I chose UWL based on my manager’s recommendation, as she studied law here around 20 years ago ( back when it had a different name). I’m really glad I followed her advice. The lecturers are one of the biggest strengths. They all have experience in both teaching or practising law, which makes a huge difference and gives what we learn a real-world perspective. The classrooms and lecture theatres are also well laid out, and there are comfortable study spaces available. The only thing I’d improve is the careers fair. I attended hoping to find opportunities in law, but the only firm I saw booked didn’t attend, and when I asked for help I felt quite dismissed. Overall, I’ve had a really positive experience at UWL and would definitely recommend it. read more

When I started at the University of West London, I felt excited but also nervous. I knew that studying in a new environment would challenge me, especially while balancing my studies with my other responsibilities. One of the hardest parts was managing assignments and deadlines. There were times when I felt stressed and wondered if I could keep up. I learned to organise my time, stay focused, and take things one step at a time. One thing I appreciate about UWL is how much I have grown in confidence. I have met different people, learned new things, and become more comfortable sharing my ideas. Looking back, I can see that the challenges I faced helped me become more independent and confident. My experience at UWL has taught me that growth does not happen overnight. It comes from showing up, learning from mistakes, and continuing even when things feel difficult read more
