For the first unit we were instructed to do “whatever” we want which is very vague, confusing vague themes. however this encourages to think creatively about the art you produce and be able to write a story about it. I've only been in school for a few weeks and it's a lot different that I had expected, but it's been alright so far. I was suprjsed at how limiting the workshops are for example, I thought they were free for anyone to join and do whatever they like, but some workshops are only avaliable for certain courses and most workshops you can't just go in and make what you want, it needs to relate to your course, bit of a bummer. BA has larger space than foundation students---still too many people per each tutors. Fine Art is not really taught-subject, but they could do better supports. It's in London, so it depends on you, to make the most benefits in this course, not the school. read more
