Mechanical Engineering, MEng Hons FullTime

Good facilities and interesting modules. Everything cross links and integrates really well. Some lecturers are incoherent at times, due to accents and strange pronounciations. Feedback is unbelievably slow, was left waiting over 60 days for coursework once and most lecturers never reply to emails. read more

Assumed the students new everything, if that was the case why would they be employed? Too busy bragging about how great they are, information they gave was lousy and lame better off buying a book missing lectures and learning like that. Total shame considering the campus is so beautiful and affordable only to be let down by teaching quality. My personal teacher could barely manage English, so what use was he Assignments every two weeks and so many lessons and homework to do became overwhelming. How am I supposed to study, eat, sleep and maintain healthy (exercise and eat right) and then attend lectures 9am to 5pm. The university clearly cared about ratings and made it obvious within the first week of teaching. The amount of teaching was ridiculous felt like I was being taught by Sheldon Cooper himself. Lecturers were so socially awkward, distant and belittling it put me right off. It just annoys me. I was on a foundation course. Which is an introduction to the real course. read more
