I have mixed feelings about the university. The architecture isn’t very appealing, and personally I don’t enjoy staying on campus much, only the Business School building really stands out as nice. The people can be a bit unusual, but it’s definitely a very diverse environment, which is interesting in its own way. On the positive side, the professors and teachers are very approachable and always willing to help, which I really appreciate. The studies can be challenging, but getting good grades is absolutely achievable if you put in the effort. The campus itself is large, so you can always find places to study, eat, or spend time with friends. Another thing I really like is that Stanmer Park is nearby, it’s a beautiful place with nature and animals, perfect for taking a break from university and going for walks with friends read more

I genuinely love the University of Sussex. It is a long story of how I ended up here by accident, but it is the best decision I have ever made. Brighton is so lively, youthful, and fun. It is a city where everyone can express themselves as they please in a safe environment. I am doing Econ BSc. I can say the lecturers tend to be engaging and seminars really allow for a more personal contact with the teacher and material. Bottom line, you get out of this university what you put into it. The library is massive, office hours are usually always available, accommodations for special needs are readily granted. All resources are provided for an easy growth, how much you grow is in your hands, the city and university are as calm and supporting of an environment as they can be. Just watch out for seagulls! Big problem. Don't go to Brighton if you don't like seagulls. Also everything on campus is really expensive, like laundry, and the coop. read more

I love how inclusive my uni is, I think overall the services and help they provide is good. However I do think that there should be more help for those who do not have a lot of money for example the laundry on campus, accommodation prices (they are going up this year), and the campus co op is way to high. read more
