Criminology with Forensic Investigation, BSc Hons FullTime
The course offers reasonable value for money, but I don't feel it fully reflects the cost of tuition. While I gained valuable knowledge and achieved a lot academically, there were areas where the teaching and overall student experience could have been stronger. The teaching quality was mixed. Some lecturers were engaging and knowledgeable, while others relied heavily on reading directly from PowerPoint slides, making sessions feel less interactive. My personal tutor was approachable and supportive whenever I needed guidance, providing helpful advice throughout my time at university. The course covered a range of interesting topics, but at times the content felt repetitive and some modules relied too much on PowerPoint presentations rather than more engaging teaching methods. The degree provides a strong foundation for careers within criminology, forensic investigation, policing, and related fields. read more
