I think it is a problem with every university ever, but it is unfair that you do not provide an example for academic essay for every rubrics criteria. Just a rubrics criteria does not help. Especially for international students who have had 0 experience in essay writing, I appreciate that they provide feedback, but if we do not know what the standard is, we will spend an entire academic year in trying to reach a higher grade. Either do not admit international students, because not every country has had essay writing because I have only grown up writing exams at every educational level, but if you do admit them, provide us with example essays. It is really unfair because I feel rather demotivated and stuck because I am just not able to improve on simple feedback, I tried. read more

I’ve only been living at Bridle Works for a short time but it’s been amazing. It's affordable and the location is perfect, you’re literally steps from Strathclyde, GCU and City of Glasgow College. The building just feels modern and well thought out. My en-suite is cosy and comfy, great bed, loads of storage and a decent-sized desk. WiFi is fast, and the gym is actually good, it's great that it comes with the room. The staff hold social events every week for everyone which is awesome aswell. There is also a cinema room, gaming room and study spaces for hanging about in. The staff are always available, kind, attentive and always quick to sort anything out. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Glasgow. read more

Studying here has been a great experience overall. The campus and facilities are modern and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to study and relax. There are plenty of clubs and societies, which makes it easy to meet new people and explore different interests. The Students’ Union is active and supportive, and the careers service is really helpful for placements and future plans. WiFi has been reliable throughout. From the moment I moved into Martha Street Apartment, I knew I’d found my ideal home in Glasgow. I was worried about settling into a new city, but the smooth check-in, warm team, and cozy, modern space made everything easy. The location is unbeatable—short walk to campus and everywhere I want to go. The rooms are quiet, bright, and well-maintained, and the shared spaces make it easy to relax and socialize.
