Joke institution. What kind of university doesn't assign individual supervisors for a Masters-level dissertation? The verbal and non-verbal communication skills of some on my course (MSc Marketing) are abysmal, which is HUGELY problematic for group work - not that the course administrators give a flying f*** - they know this is happening and their solution to the problem seems to be a team-building retreat at the beginning of term. This is consistent with the department's wider strategy of oversubscribing the course beyond any kind of serviceability. If you're an ambitious student, you will be punished time and time again by having to carry entire groups of students, who seem to be happy scraping by with a pass-level mark. AVOID Strathclyde Business School like the plague. You'd be better-off buying some textbooks from Amazon. read more
