I do not pay for my studies personally due to being a Scottish student so I can’t be super defensive. I think the teaching quality is good but more contact time would be nice. My personal tutor is very helpful and understanding, I had some issues with family this semester and my personal tutor supported me as soon as I spoke to him about it. The course content is engaging and also challenging. I would like to be a teacher either in a secondary school teaching history or in a primary school, so I am aware of my job prospects and how I can achieve my goals. However there was a semester 4 course all about jobs people can go into with their history degree. There is a semester 5 module in oral history where students can do more hands stuff rather than just writing. And for one of my semester 6 modules I did a task were we had to make a podcast in groups about a reading we had been assigned. read more
