Even though this course can be a little boring sometimes the lecturers are really fun and the cause contain is so well updated that it suits the current job market. read more

Most of the staff in the Education school are lovely, with the exception of only a handful (even they aren't that bad!). The entire PAT system needs overriding, to which this is always disregarded since staff "don't have enough time"- this is what they are paid to do so they should be a lot more supportive. The course is incredibly boring and contents lacks significance as you can waffle on the assignments and still get 80+. Career pathway is pretty straight forward with education, but if I could go back I would look for a degree where I can get QTS or something equivalent in addition to the degree (this isn't so much a problem with the joint honours degree as you get BPS accredited) but it means paying nearly 10k for a degree which lacks depth in content and doesn't gain you anything extra. Would not pick this degree if you are academically inclined, however if you like to have lots of free time and are likely to skip lectures- this is the degree for you! read more
