As a third year student i've really enjoyed my time at university. The lecturers are passionate and supportive and the course content feels relevant and engaging. The campus has a friendly atmosphere, and it’s been easy to meet people with similar interests. Overall it’s been a great place to learn and develop both academically and personally. read more

I've had a really good experience at this university. The teaching quality is high, and the lecturers are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely supportive. There are plenty of resources available for both academic and personal development, and the campus has a great atmosphere. There’s a good balance between studies and social life, with lots of clubs, events, and opportunities to get involved. read more

Standard. Few great lectures in law. 3/10 for not having someone to supervise criminology dissertations. Limited support from personal tutor, not useful. Not useful service from international student support. Feedback on coursework is bad nothing is said and when I send an email they take it personal which is limiting me from knowing what are the areas need improvement especially in criminology sector where markers are not even specialised in criminology. Career service telling me what everyone does, applying on indeed linked in. Every time I go to the center they tell me we cannot book u in appointments are only available in two weeks. The university did not solve my issue that I had after being attacked by a fellow student and wellbeing service were only good to an extent and then stopped being helpful like I have to say something serious to get an appointment, why!! Library is amazing though, I can only focus properly when I’m there, one of their top facilities read more

The careers service here is especially fantastic. They have helped with so much. Thanks to support with my CV, cover letter, interview prep, Portsmouth Award, I have landed myself many part time jobs and placements. Portsmouth are VERY good when it comes to employability. Internet and WiFi is always great for me, I've never had any issues. Campus and facilities are all amazing. I've studied in lots of different buildings, the library, etc and everything works fine. Computers and printers are all great. Lecture halls are great. No complaints. Good leisure - there are shopping areas, pubs, restaurants. Nice green spaces. Beaches nearby. Clubs and societies I cannot really comment much on as I have never joined any. I think I will next year to get the full experience. But from what I've heard from others, I've heard nothing but positive reviews. Students Union is very good. read more

I am currently living in the Stanley Studios. I would definitely recommend this place to other students. It is always quiet and peaceful here. The property is new, and everything is in good condition. The current manager - Andrew Aquilina, is the friendliest person, always ready to help with any issue occurring, and will make your stay here even better. read more
