Enjoyable time studying here. Staff are friendly and approachable, and the societies available are relatively well established and diverse in nature. Lecturers are knowledgable in their subjects, but there are times where I've had difficulties with how they have presented some elements in their course modules. read more

As a final‑year student, I can say this place has been a mix of late‑night library marathons, surprisingly wholesome society events, and the occasional existential crisis about deadlines. The teaching quality varies by department, but when it’s good, it’s genuinely inspiring. Campus food is… fine if you like carbs. The real highlight is the community — you’ll find your people here, even if it takes a minute. Overall: not perfect, but a solid place to spend three years figuring yourself out. read more

The University of Plymouth provides a supportive and engaging learning environment. The lecturers are knowledgeable and approachable, and the teaching is well structured with good access to academic support. The university has great infrastructure with computer labs and library. Many hosted events are free. I would love if they put sports/ badminton schedule more often and cafés are easy accessible for quick snack in between lectures. Overall, the on-campus experience is fun and calming as an international student. read more

In a couple short words, moving down here was quite a change for me. I was worried about many things, mostly accommodation and social inquiries but all is better than i expected. The social aspect of living with Capitol students is pretty good, a lot of people from very different background, its nice to know im not the only one with this mentality. read more

This is my second year living in the reservoir as a rebooker. The location is honestly no doubt the best in my opinion. it is the closest to the uni campus as well as to the town center. you definitely get what you pay for. I've viewed countless studios and still think the reservoir beats them all in terms of size, price, communal spaces, management etc. One thing i would change is the laundry system. it is indeed a bit pricey, but most student accommodation uses circuit laundry so its somewhat expected. read more
