Not a bad course but with budget cuts and funding cuts we lost alot of lecturers. If I was a new student I would possibly look elsewhere but the course in its prime was wonderful.

Photography, BA Hons FullTime
So far, my experience on the Photography course at the University of Plymouth has been really positive. We’ve learned a lot about early photographic methods and are regularly challenged to explore different styles and briefs, which has helped me grow creatively. The feedback we get on our work is really helpful and has made a big difference in improving our photography. The course is small, which was one of the main reasons I chose it, and it’s a huge benefit - you get more one-to-one support and guidance from tutors, and it’s easy to get to know everyone, which makes the course feel more like a community. The teaching is excellent, and there’s usually someone around to ask questions or get advice. The only downside so far is that there are a few staff available, and it sometimes feels like the department doesn’t have as much funding or resources as it might have done in the past. Even so, it’s still a great course with supportive teaching and plenty of opportunities. read more

Unorganised and useless, many people don't see the reason for doing the degree when they could do the same at home without the "help" from the tutors read more
