The uni itself is easy to navigate and the support is quite easy to get/ regularly offered. The WiFi regularly didn’t work so would have to hotspot from my phone which isn’t ideal as not everyone can do that, so then lectures can be harder to participate and write notes for. read more

University of Plymouth on a whole was good good for my 1st year. I’m studying criminology and absolutely loving the course. The campus and facilities are mixed, most of the buildings are very new or had been renovated. Some of them are obviously a bit older so the facilities are slightly outdated but still really good. I didn’t join a society last year but will this year, from what I hear they are so good and run lots of taster sessions in freshers. Societies are where you will probably meet the majority of your friends. They are student led, so if you want to get involved in that as well it’s great to help out and will look good on your CV. They get a some funding, but a lot of it is done by fundraising and a monthly free. The students union have some really good opportunities for students if you are a bit skint, like free period products and cheap fruit and veg and the SU (the club) is great!! The WiFi goes down sometimes but they are super fast at fixing it. Overall 9/10 love it! read more

Good university, honestly one of the best down here in the south west. Provides a good amount of facilities and support services. Being honest I find it less lively than my hometown in the midlands but that’s more of a geographical difference, the university is still good. read more
