The University is helpful if you raise issues. There are great libraries and studying areas. There is a range of clubs and societies and it is not too difficult to start one on your own. I have not really interacted with the SU, but I have never seen anything about them such as emails. As I am still completing my undergraduate course, I have not been in contact with the careers service but I have not seen anything about them or know what they can offer. There is a studying advisory service which is quite helpful. The university uses eduroam which is reliable and fast most of the time. Some days it can be very bad. read more

I'm a part time masters student and I don't really visit as often due to my course requirements. However, I have found that Oxford University - especially the Department of Education - is mostly brilliant in terms of research and the way things are organised. Despite the fact that I'm not there that often, I have been given mostly everythung I need to succeed. Supervisors are lovely and the general feeling is great. I will be sad when I leave. read more

As an international student, my experience at Oxford had been good so far. The school is very structured on sexual misconduct, racism and harassment issues. Also, the education system was quite different since here there are modules/tutorials & lots of reading. Takes time to adjust but once you get a hang of it, you’ll be good to go read more

Oxford is a university with outstanding teaching, in an exceptionally beautiful city. It generally values eccentricity over homogeny, so you should end up finding people who like you for you. Everything about the university is extremely decentralised, which comes with all the pros and cons that that entails. read more
