The university provides a wide range of opportunities to socialise but also build essential experience portfolios for future career paths. Life at the university, with it being a collegial system, furthers this by ensuring you have a close community by your side at all time. I haven't heard too much about the student union so I cannot provide an honest rating. read more

There are many excellent libraries and study spaces across both the college and the city; by being an Oxford student you get access to buildings all over the city! There are many clubs and societies ranging from sports and music to ethnic societies and everything in between. The careers service frequently sends out emails detailing careers fairs and talks relevant to each student. read more

The university of Oxford is a great place to study with all the facilities needed for study. With so many libraries and accommodation for all years of study, it is perfect for me. I feel there is somewhere to go, to whatever taste you might have. The subpar communication of what is happening around the university is perhaps what is holding it back. There are many great things happening around the uni but it is hard to find info on them at times. Depending on the college, it can be quite cheap. My college - At Keble - has a very reasonable price despite having above average accommodation costs for Oxford colleges. At Keble we do not have kitchens, and hall food, although not terribly expensive, is not as cheap as home cooking. Which has made the food situation dire. Overall though, I would not pick a different uni in the world. read more

My first year studying at Oxford has been an incredible experience - it is so amazing being among like-minded people and surrounded by such knowledgeable tutors. The tutorial system at Oxford is so unique and beneficial as it allows me to talk through my academic studies with experts in the field and gain so much by working with peers in a small discussion setting. The extensive facilities provided by Oxford are very useful as there is a wide range of access to articles, books and journals, as well as websites, reliable WiFi and study spaces. read more

Your data doesn’t work inside the colleges because of the thick walls. There’s problems with mold sometimes and the ventilation in the old buildings is quite bad, a lot of places are just not accessible. read more

The student community at Oxford is great! Students and faculty are generally very friendly and supportive. Where it is lacking is in more practical terms, with lots of confusion and disparity with college WiFi networks and accommodation support, and problems are often just put down to the university’s age and old-fashioned infrastructure. read more

I love Oxford a lot, it is very academically rigorous but lots to do and everyone is very kind. It is a cute college system and you unexpectedly run into people a lot, which I love. Great quality of education, not the most international from my experience but everyone is really lovely. read more
