Entry requirements are the formal requirements students need to meet to be considered for a place on a university course. But, each year many universities accept students with lower grades. The bar chart below shows the actual UCAS tariff points of students currently on this course.

Required subjects for Dental Therapy BSc Hons at University of Liverpool
3 A levels at grades ABB or above one of which must be Biology. General Studies and Critical Thinking are not accepted as one of the 3 A levels. Pending A level qualifications will be considered. We do not consider AS level grades when making decisions.
We will consider A level grades taken over 3 years (this includes one resit attempt per subject).
For Science A levels that include the separately graded practical endorsement, a Pass is required.

In my opinion, and reflected by the high NSS results, results, this is one of the best (if not the best) dental schools in the UK. Especially now, with the introduction of the new curriculum, it is so extremely well structured and run. There’s a great list of positives and almost zero negatives... postives: - Well structured modules with logical progressiom from one to another, as well as very organised timetable - High quality lectures, including very supportive anatomy teaching - Clinical skills is taught in-depth and tutors are very experienced - Feedback system is amazing as you can actually learn and grow from it - Dental school and hospital has some of the best facilities - Logical progression from the scope of practice of a dental therapist to that of a dentist - Open-minded school leadership, always keen to improve And the list goes on and on! Again, I believe this course and university is not yet acknowledged enough for how amazing it is! read more
