I’ve not joined any societies but I’ve seen them out and heard good things about them the students union have held a lot of events and email out the dates and what they’re planning to do each month so you can pick and choose if you want to go. read more

The university has been okay at the most part, I've been referred to student wellbeing to help get a diagnosis of ADHD but they're asking I pay a deposit which I cannot afford. The students themselves are mature and relaxed, I feel safe here. read more

Not only is the property wonderful but the team is as well. There are numerous amenities and activities provided and it really feels like luxury. The team was also so caring and helpful to their residents, especially the manager Anthony who goes above and beyond. I was an international student and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable and accommodated. This is the best place I’ve lived by far and I wish I could just take it to the states with me. To summarize my university, the university has a lot to offer in terms of societies and clubs. The university student union can also be accommodating as they have various sectors so you are able to get the best help. The university also has careers and employment offers ranging in lots of different aspects from part time to internship so again they also have a lot to accommodate you in finding work/careers. I mainly use one building and the building is well maintained clean and the equipment we are provided is regularly checked and updated to make sure we are provided with the best software. I have also never had issues with wifi, so I'm not interrupted whilst I'm working. read more

I had a great four years here, the staff of the uni (history department) are great, the lecturers are above and beyond, my only criticism is the upper echelon of the uni do not look after their own people. I did my whole undergrad and masters without ever using a lecture theatre. The staff are underpaid and overworked and yet the uni still claims they have no money? read more
