I'm currently in my third year and have been really happy with the course I've chosen. The staff are brilliant and deliver interesting and engaging lectures and seminars. The lectures are well-presented with great content and I enjoy the seminars which are structured well, where we have discussions in small groups and have the chance to speak about what we researched for that week. My personal tutor has been really friendly and helpful whenever I've had any queries. They often get back to me quickly and I've had face-to-face discussions with them in the past but they are currently happy to arrange video call meetings or communicate via email. It's been helpful that we've been made aware of job prospects this course makes available. There are a range of these, including going into the heritage sector, teaching, journalism, law, etc. due to being a very adaptable degree. read more
