The department provides a really friendly and supportive atmosphere, which really helps when you are stuck. They have an open door policy, which means you can go see any academic for help if they are in. The department also has a common room that anyone can use during the day and plenty of space for studying. In terms of the staff, they tend to teach stuff that is related to their research, so it's all really relevant and you get to talk to the experts. read more
