Required subjects for Automotive Engineering BEng Hons at University of Leeds
A-level: A*AA including Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry.
Where an A-level Science subject is taken, we require a pass in the practical science element, alongside the achievement of the A-level at the stated grade.
Extended Project Qualification (EPQ),International Project Qualification (IPQ) and Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate (ASCC): We do not currently include them as part of our offer-making. We do, however, encourage you to provide further information on your project in your personal statement.

I’m a level two product design student, so far I’ve been mostly teaching myself the materials because the teachers are not that great. Some of them act a bit odd to the international student amplifying the “out of place” feeling some international students might have. This course are mostly taught at a design studio, meaning there’s no recording of the session, so if you miss a lecture then you can’t really review back on it. read more

Teaching quality entirely depends on the teacher in question. I have had a couple exceptional teachers, and a few just bad ones. From not explaining information properly to extremely poor communication of information regarding exams and assignments for the bad ones. Course content is a little lacking. Despite being a mechatronics and robotics course, there's very little in the way of actual.... robotics. Physical, at least. Everything is just theory mostly. Would be greatly improved with more hands-on aspects. read more
