Certificate of Higher Education in Law, CertHE PartTime

SQE 1 ONLINE PREP COURSE. They took 5 months to respond to my appeal and are refusing to refund my one instalment. I appealled on medical grounds and provided my surgery documents and diagnosis. they think I wasn't ill enough in a timely manner which is not true, they ignored my previous emails asking to be withdrawn. They have breached policy multiple times throughout the process. ULaw made me submit my appeal 3 times because they are too incompetent to correctly read the course date on appeal forms, and they conveniently left out the second review stage forms every time. Not only are they refusing to refund my instalment but they are telling me they want me to pay the entire course which comes to over 4k!!! I am now speaking to a solicitor who is flabbergasted at the case. Horrible admin, dishonest, cruel, greedy. I want them to see this review and know that I am taking this seriously BTW I used to be a 2023 alumni and this is what they are doing to me. read more

The course has been well delivered, with its contents easy to access and work through. Reading is provided digitally and is also easy to access and make use of. However, with preparatory lectures delivered online, it can sometimes be difficult to stay focused, although it is easy to work through independently is such problems arise. read more

Law with International Business, LLB Hons FullTime

I was SQE2 student with ULaw in face to face classes and I failed the assessment. Face face to classes are absolute waste of time as tutors were not specialists in the area that they were teaching. For example an immigration solicitor was trying to teach in one session of Legal Drafting, all of the subjects including Will, Criminal litigation, Dispute Resolution, Property Law. Every single question was answered by “I don’t know. I am not specialist in this area.” They offer lesser than 5 mock tests and very limited studying materials. For example Legal Drafting in Property Practice is all about filling out conveying forms. In their courses they have just TR1 and TP1 Form. In the assessment that was a form that I had no idea what is this and unfortunately I got 0 on that part. In response of my complaint they said our complaint procedure takes few weeks! While I have just 2 months to prepare for the next assessment in October. Just avoid ULaw. They do not care about their students. read more
