Currently in my 3rd year of my second degree here at the university. Any support i required at any point, there was a team for it and they were all fantastic. Also as i am in a second undergraduate course i do not qualify for SFE tuition loans only maintainance but i have been able to stay in uni without working multiple jobs as it is so affordable to live in preston. Couldn't have picked a better uni for my medical education. read more

I have really enjoyed my time at university. Apart from my studies, I have had many great experiences that have helped me grow both personally and professionally. Being a Student Ambassador has been particularly rewarding, allowing me to meet new people and represent the university. I also enjoy spending time in the library, where I can stay focused and productive with my studies. Outside of academics, I like getting involved in activities at the Students’ Union, especially playing table tennis, which is always fun and a great way to unwind. I have also enjoyed spending time at Lampworks and trying different food options with friends. Overall, university life has been a great balance of learning, personal development, and making memorable experiences. read more

Living at Sizer Court has genuinely elevated my university experience. The management team is exceptional—Georgia is approachable and supportive, Shannon is consistently friendly and always willing to help, and Phil brings a great sense of humour that makes the environment feel welcoming and relaxed. What really sets Sizer Court apart is the sense of community. The organised activities, social events, and shared spaces—especially the game room—create real opportunities to meet people and build friendships. It doesn’t just feel like accommodation, it feels like a place where student life actually happens. Overall, Sizer Court offers a premium living experience, combining high-quality facilities with a management team that truly cares. It’s been a huge part of making my time at uni both enjoyable and memorable. read more
