The university itself is very diverse through ages and races, and has a lot of on campus facilities, nice range of courses and things to do. The area in which it is in though, Hatfield, is kind of isolated and can get lonely especially if you’re staying there at accommodation. read more
University of Hertfordshire
I had a really positive experience studying here and would recommend the university to others. The student support services, facilities and study spaces were excellent, and I found the campus to be diverse and welcoming. The teaching was generally very good, although there was some variation between lecturers. Some were outstanding and incredibly supportive, while others were less engaging. It sometimes felt like luck of the draw, particularly when it came to dissertation supervisors. The biggest area for improvement is communication around module choices. At Master’s level, there should be much more information about module content, assessments and teaching before students are expected to choose. Better guidance would make it much easier to make informed decisions. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would recommend the university for its supportive environment and strong teaching. read more
