I stayed at Willowbank for the whole of my master’s year and it was a genuinely good experience from start to finish. The rooms are clean, quiet and well maintained, and the wifi was reliable enough for long study sessions and video calls. The reception team deserve a special mention, and the manager and her team in particular were absolutely wonderful. They were always patient, warm and genuinely willing to help, no matter how small the question was. Whenever I emailed or went down to ask about something, I got a friendly and prompt response. As an international student, having staff like that made a real difference to how settled I felt. The location is convenient for both the university and the city centre, and I always felt safe coming back in the evening. I would happily recommend Willowbank to other students.
