Studying my course has been a genuinely rewarding experience overall. The content is engaging and well-structured, with a good balance between theory and practical application, which makes it feel relevant rather than just academic. The lecturers are knowledgeable and generally approachable, and when you put the effort in, you get a lot back in terms of support and understanding. I’ve developed stronger problem-solving skills and a better ability to think analytically, which I know will be valuable going forward.

As a full time student and I only have 12 hours of time per week with a professor. Most just read the slides word for word. Year 1 engineering had GCSE content. Haven’t a whole module on professional development. But most of it is common sense and a lot of people in the university have had jobs before so irrelevant information is being shared. Have to combine multiple courses so some modules just have general engineering content rather than specifically tailored to my course. read more
