I chose to study at the university of chester because the courses offered are accredited by prestigious and professional bodies together with the high employability rate of over 90%. Also, the University is ranked as the sixth best for international students, because of the diversity of the student body population. I’ve just finished my BSc, and I will truly miss living in Chester. Most of my lessons were in Exton/Parkgate campus. I love the campus because it isn’t huge and intimidating, you can quickly find everything you need there and won’t get lost. Everything is close by: the library, shops, accommodation, etc!. So you’ll quickly learn where everything is. The library has everything you need, and you’ll no doubt find the perfect spot to work (whether it’s silence you’re after or a room that is buzzy). The library has vending machines, drinks and food. Careers & Employability staff have always been so friendly and helpful, I’ve never left an appointment feeling unsatisfied. some *minor* negativities I have. In my first year, I lived in halls and had fully catered meals. A lot of the meals there are hit and miss, I lived in Gladstone House and my room was missing a lamp and the uni never replaced it. Some rooms in Gladstone also had ants infesting over the summer. read more
