Job prospects and course content is good. Unfortunately not seen my personal tutor since the first week and don’t feel that supported. However lots of good lecturers which do make you feel listened to and respond quickly to emails. read more

As a first year midwifery student, I’m really enjoying my time at the University of Chester. Due to Covid a lot of teaching has been online which has been a real shame, impacting teaching etc. However, the tutors are all lovely and really helpful which is great. read more

I would honestly rather stick pins in my eyes than do this course at this university. Go elsewhere! Had such a horrible experience, lectures read off powerpoints and hardly know what they are doing most of the time. Major miscommunication between all staff and the students so no one knows anything. Programme lead completely unprofessional. No support given for mental health issues; major lack in communication during a break. If you want to do nursing, I would highly recommend either a different site (don't go to riverside) or a different university altogether. read more

The lecturers are kind and approachable. The course lecturers use a lot of PowerPoint presentations. The skills lab is accessible if struggling with a certain skills as it can allow you to become more confident. read more
