Overall really good facilities, and amazing teaching, general organisation within the university administration could be better, and the interent can sometimes be unreliable, slow or inconsistent. read more

This place really will begin to feel like your second home as time passes! The town is cozy, but there is always something to do - from punting, to joining random societies, to wandering through the halls... there is no place like Cambridge! Academically it is undoubtedly tough, however, this is very much so balanced and compensated, in my opinion, by the extremely supportive community there. read more

Generally very happy! Only issues are with student accommodation but the problems are those which naturally arise with living in an old building. Furthermore, the Student Union as well as clubs and societies do their best given the challenges of the college system from their perspective! read more

Very good in terms of facilities, scholarship/bursary options, societies, and mental health/wellbeing support. However, the career guidance is lacking significantly as the focus tends to be primarily on academics. Also, eduroam is very temperamental. read more

A great university for immersing yourself in your field of study. The teaching is generally amazing with few exceptions. There are plenty of societies and clubs but if you're doing a particularly challenging degree, you won't have time to join more than one, maybe two. Facilities are pretty good. read more

Cambridge is truly one of the most remarkable cities to live, study, and explore. Its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant academic atmosphere make it an inspiring place for students, professionals, and visitors alike. One of Cambridge’s standout qualities is its perfect blend of tradition and modernity. The iconic colleges and historic buildings create a breathtaking backdrop, while the lively cafés, independent shops, and cultural events ensure there’s always something new to discover. The River Cam, with its famous punting experiences, adds to the city's charm and provides a peaceful escape from busy student life. For students, Cambridge offers an unparalleled learning environment, with world-class libraries, innovative research centers, and a strong sense of intellectual curiosity in the air. Beyond academics, the city’s social scene is diverse, with great pubs, restaurants, and events that bring people together. The cycling culture also makes getting around easy and read more

I'm a current master's student at the Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge and I'm incredibly impressed with the university, college and course. I'm surrounded by like-minded individuals that have the same drive to make positive change in the world, and I always leave at the end of the day feeling very inspired! The facilities are wonderful, especially the facility of education library. My college - Clare College - is beautifully set on the river Cam and has a unique blend of old and new. There are a whole host of societies to join and there's the opportunity to visit the huge fresher's fair at the start of term. All-in-all I have loved every second of being academically challenged in an environment where I'm always encouraged to be my best and to enjoy the journey! read more
