Pharmacology, BSc Hons FullTime

Going into pharmacology, I wasnt entirely sure what it involved other than it was a mixture of Biology and Chemistry. I found that I really enjoyed the content of this course as it applied aspects of science to real world examples which allowed better engagement with the content as well as being generally interesting. In the first 2 years of the course there is a lot of overlap with physiology and neuroscience and I found that the people in the lectures were mostly from these subjects which means that you can make friends with people outsode of pharmacology even in lectures which is an added bonus. There are enough lectures a week to make the course feel like it is worth the money but at the same time not be too overwhelming or intense. My personal tutor is very helpful and we have several meetings a year both individually and in groups of other pharmacology students of different years to give and recieve advice about upcoming exams or coursework as well as what units to pick. read more
