The campuses were very clean and were in a good location to accomodation and the city. There are good facilities and areas to sit and eat, as well as vending machines and smoking areas. The university has a lot of different societies and clubs, which allow people to have taster sessions to see if you would enjoy the club. They range from academic to sports and hobbies and they are student run and very friendly and welcoming. The student union was run well and provided a lot of events for mental health, information and cultures, and some fun events before the major holidays. Careers services in first year allow you to have talks with people about what you can do to further your career as you study. Many placement years are available for courses that would help you throughout the course. These happen in Third year, so there isn't a lot of opportunity in first year, however the help is available when you need it. The wifi was very easy to access when you have all your student information. read more

Brighton is a lovely city to live and study in. However with the campuses being so far apart there is no feel of community, it is very hard to meet people who study on different campuses. I have loved being part of the netball society however I wish there were more non sporting societies that actually hold events. I love my course and the sporting facilities at Falmer campus are amazing. I feel supported by the residential team and the academic team, I have had support from both and they have really helped me settle. read more
