Starting university was a huge change at first, but as I began interacting with more people and receiving greater support, it became a much more exciting and enjoyable experience. I’ve grown more comfortable and confident, and I genuinely enjoy my time at university. Overall, it has been a fun and rewarding experience so far! UoB is a great university with so many opportunities and a strong support system. The university itself encourages you to grow, become more independent, and build your confidence. It really helps you feel more prepared for the future! read more

I am incredibly grateful to Vaheed from the True Birmingham team for his assistance during my stay. As I do not own an iPhone, I ran into trouble getting a document to the apartment’s printer. I reached out to Vaheed at the front desk, and he kindly stepped in to help—using a USB drive and the front desk computer, he managed to get my urgent document printed. His warm and enthusiastic demeanor throughout the process really helped ease the anxiety I felt while dealing with an unexpected issue in a second language. The entire staff at True Birmingham is wonderful; you can choose to stay here with complete peace of mind. Once again, thank you, Vaheed—best wishes from the resident of Room 440! read more

The university is incredibly supportive. Everyone I’ve met goes out of their way to help students—whether it’s international student integration, mental health, language support, or academic writing. The professors are wonderful, too. They are genuinely passionate about their field, encourage us to voice our ideas, and guide us in class. They care about every single need, no matter how small. Even if you think something isn’t worth bothering them about, they are always eager to help you solve it. Overall, it’s been a fantastic experience. read more

There are many activities in the apartment, and participating in them is very enjoyable. Occasionally, they also give away some daily necessities, which are very practical. The facilities in the rooms are both new and comprehensive. The gym is also larger than those in typical student apartments. In short, living here is very comfortable. read more
