Studying MSc Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the University of Birmingham has been one of the most challenging and transformative experiences of my life. Moving from India to the UK meant adapting to a new country, a different education system, and a much more research-focused style of learning. There were times when I felt overwhelmed and questioned whether I was capable of completing the degree but I did it.Making friends at university was more difficult than I expected. As an international student and someone who is naturally introverted, it took time to adjust to a new environment. but I got best friends here. I m really grateful for everything I leant here( life lesson) read more

University of Birmingham
The campus is beautiful and massive, extending across many parts of Selly Oak and The Vale near accomodations. There's many facilities and activities to do around campus on your own or with friends and great places to relax. I really like that there's a Rymann stationary store, water stations and food spots, it's great to stock up and motivate yourself with good quality stationary and food! (very essential for me, personally). The university is also kept clean and the lightings at night are beautiful. One thing I'd say is the library is too busy during exam season/lecture timings or any place for that matter, which makes it difficult to find somewhere to sit and study. To join a society, you have to pay a small amount of money for every year which can be restrictive when wanting to join multiple societies as it can get expensive added together. I would really recommend choosing University of Birmingham! read more

University of Birmingham has been an excellent environment for studying Computer Science. The course structure balances theory and practice well — modules like Theories of Computation, Algorithms and Data Structures, and Mathematical and Logical Foundations are rigorous and genuinely build strong problem-solving skills. Teaching quality is high, resources are solid, and the campus has a great academic atmosphere. Highly recommend it for CS students who want a challenging, well-rounded degree. read more
