Business Management with Year in Industry, BSc Hons FullTime
I couldn't fault my course - business management. Although it might not feel like loads of contact hours (between 12-16 a week), our lecturers always advertise their office hours for us to discuss any challenges or questions with them. I liked how broad the course was in first year, as it allowed me to develop skills in several business disciplines before choosing optional modules to specialise more in. The assessments are varied, including group presentations, essays, videos, posters and exams. The feedback I've received has been constructive and on the odd occasion where I don't fully understand the feedback, I've visited my lecturer during their office hours to go through it with me. The academic support is brilliant and I feel that I can go to any of my lecturers or the PHD support staff with a question. Teaching quality varies by lecturer though and I've never had much to do with my personal tutor - they failed to turn up to our meetings. read more

My teaching quality is appalling in most modules and when met with criticism lecturers have a bad attitude instead of actually listening and realising the overall bad marks of my course is because of them.
