Coming from a background of a lack of education, where even my own mother and father don’t know how to read or write and being stuck taking care of them, university was not only a way to get an education and a start in life but a way to get out of a negative period of my life. A beautiful team helping you whenever you need it, whether it’s a financial issue or a mental issue, there’s always someone to give you a little nudge, whether it be the friends we make along the way or the tutors and teams that are here for us, or even if you want to go at it alone. University was a great decision, I’ve only been here a month and it already feels like a new home to me. Not to mention the wifi is twice as fast as what I had back in London! read more

The university offers a welcoming environment, with opportunities to meet new people, explore different interests and get involved in student life. Well all things are good at university but my attendance is having problem as the problem was that my app shows my class in J012 but at first day I go to D102 and the teacher asked me to stay there and attend the class but now when my attendance was marked absent as shown on the app then I go to student information desk then they say me to go to the J012 class , that’s the main problem which also leavers me behind in my attendance. That’s the main thing I hate very very very much. read more

I decided to do a foundation year, and that was the best decision I could have made. Particularly because I’ve been out of school for some years. Doing the foundation year gave me an insight of what is expected in year one and now in my second year. I was given tools that has been very essential. I have to give praise to the one-to-one sessions which has helped me so much. I have learned things that I didn’t know for my unit, and that gave me confidence when completing my assignment and exam. read more

I recently stayed at Polhill Park and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a genuinely relaxing stay. A special mention has to go to the manager, Raluca Chira, whose warmth and professionalism made all the difference. She was attentive to every detail, quick to answer questions, and went out of her way to make sure everything ran smoothly during our stay. It's clear she takes real pride in running a welcoming, well-organized property. I also want to highlight Fahad Ali, one of the security guards on site. He was consistently vigilant and professional, doing regular rounds throughout the day and night to make sure the grounds and building were secure. He was approachable and friendly whenever I passed him, always happy to greet guests, answer questions, or point us in the right direction, while still staying alert and taking his responsibilities seriously.
