As an affiliate student in European and International Social and Political Studies, I've been impressed by how much UCL invests in preparing students for the working world. There are constant careers fairs, employer events, networking opportunities and talks across sectors, and you can even book one-to-one careers appointments with a consultant from your own department. The modules are world-class, although one-semester affiliate students have fairly limited options because of how UK exams work, which feels at odds with UCL's commitment to equal opportunity. Overall, a top-tier university for building your future career. read more
