French and Spanish, BA Hons FullTime
I really enjoy the course and the people I've met and it's definitely a chill time with challenging moments but compared to other departments, SELCS gets so little money and nothing ever happens - no socials, nothing offered despite paying the same amount as STEM students or even BASC students who get socials, free or paid, parties etc. Also the admin is incredibly slow. The teachers are for the most part lovely though, especially Benjamin in French and ALL the Spanish teachers. The content is varied and interesting especially the history/culture modules. Definitely very hands on teaching experience too. read more
