Classics and the Ancient World, BA Hons FullTime
Classics at UCL is a great course; the lecturers are so knowledgable and passionate about their subjects and make learning really easy. Unfortunately there are no fieldwork trip opportunities specifically for the Classics course, but there are chances to go on short day trips to museums. Job prospects are varied, but Classics students do go on to a range of job sectors after graduating and there is definitely possibilities of further work in the History and Heritage sectors. read more

History, BA Hons FullTime
Teaching is good, lectures are descriptive and seminars are as engaging as you make them. Course content is quite dense but not too challenging Job prospects depend on the extracurriculars and work experience you take up, not as useful as other degrees yet a common route is to undertake a PGDL/Masters after which can open up a larger amount of opportunities. Personal tutor always available during office hours read more
