Firstly I was really nervous during my first day. I was a bit late,as the University campus was really big and splited around the area it was quite difficult for me to find the exact building location, It's been half an hour I couldn’t find the exact location, I was watching the map, asked current students nobody could say about that building. Then one visitor teacher who was noticing me i was really nervous then he was with me untill I found the classroom. It was reall kind of him. read more

As a student with a disability, I have had an excellent overall experience at the University of Wolverhampton. University life has been positive and rewarding, and I am very pleased with my decision to study here. However, the quality and reliability of the university’s internet connection require significant improvement. Reliable internet access is essential for accessing course materials, participating in online learning and completing assessments. Poor connectivity creates unnecessary barriers and can be particularly challenging for students who depend on digital resources for accessibility. Improving the Wi-Fi would make an already excellent university experience more accessible and effective. read more

I have been in uk since one year and I haven’t been able to find any job. As an international student it’s very hard to find a job because there are alot of restrictions on an international student for doing a job e.g only 20 hours a week is allowed during term time and only part time job can be done which makes it hard to fulfill all the expenses in Uk. You can do a full time job only in holidays but no one is hiring only for holidays. Moreover, universities charge the international students more than the local ones. read more

I would not recommend the University of Wolverhampton based on my experience. I was missed off the dissertation module twice despite paying, received conflicting advice, and had to repeatedly chase for answers. I removed the only potentially identifying data, the IP addresses, and my supervisor checked the submission beforehand and confirmed everything was fine. I was later given a zero for an alleged ethical issue without clear explanation, formal feedback or an opportunity to respond. Complaint handling and Student Success support have also been poor. The process has caused significant stress and wasted a great deal of time. It is my 10 university and by far it has been the worst. Just very expensive e-learning. read more

I enjoyed every bit of my studies here, the serene environment, the methods of teaching, the chaplaincy is home away from home, helps you settle in and adapt easily, enjoyed every bit of the global lunch and the opportunity to work as a student, the student union always visiting classes to interact with students and know the challenges they're facing, the prompt response from the ask wlv team whenever you encounter any difficulties, the WiFi never disappoints, the vice Chancellor always available to interact with students and know their needs,I love university of Wolverhampton and would recommend it to anyone around me. read more

What can I say really. Im a mature student, Ive had no help when I needed. I was financially struggling to buy a new laptop and if you wanted to borrow one from uni, you had to return it within 6 hours. I love 50 minutes away by car. So, that wasnt really ideal. My laptop had an old version and the word excel bundle wasnt able to update. I had to use my uni account. This caused me so much trouble because I couldn't save anything on my laptop. It had to be on the account but when I wanted to submit something, it didnt show anything on the laptop and I couldnt access the uni account..long story..still unsolved. They also terrorised me with emails asking me to pay when I already paid and I had to chase that myself. I was also threatened to be withdrawn if my attendance wasnt going up when infant, i was attending everything. The person that meant to help me, sent me my registry file and I straight away found out what the issue was. Mentally, it has really affected me. read more

As an international student studying MRes Public Health at the University of Wolverhampton, my experience has been both rewarding and enriching. The university has provided a supportive learning environment with approachable lecturers who are always willing to offer guidance and feedback. The course has strengthened my research, critical thinking, and analytical skills while exposing me to real-world public health issues from a global perspective. Although adapting to a new academic system came with challenges, the support from academic staff and the diverse student community made the transition much easier.
