As a current student at the University of Westminster, I’ve had a pretty positive experience overall. One of the best things about the uni is its central London location — it makes commuting easy and gives you access to so many opportunities in the city. My course is well-structured, and most of the lecturers are supportive and approachable. There’s a strong focus on practical learning, which I’ve found really helpful in preparing for life after uni. The student community is super diverse, which makes the environment feel inclusive and vibrant. Facilities are decent, though some areas could use a bit of an upgrade. That said, the library and online resources are great, and there’s good support for careers and internships. Overall, I’d say Westminster is a good choice if you want to study in London and be part of a modern, global university. read more

There is no better University I could have enrolled myself to. I am doing a Master at Westminster and all I can say I regret is that I didn't do my Bachelor's here. I love the uni, the environment, the people, the facilities, the opportunities....basically everything. read more

I’ve been here for 3 years, about to be my fourth and final year and I can say that there is not much to complain about and whatever you need help with there’s always someone to help and it will rarely take ages to be resolved. There’s also a lot of things to keep busy with whether it’s your work, societies or jobs that they offer within the university. read more

As I step into my final year at university, I can’t help but reflect on how much this journey has shaped me. From the very first day of lectures to now, every challenge, late-night study session, and group project has helped me grow not only academically but personally too. Along the way, I’ve made amazing friendships, learnt from inspiring professors, and collected so many memories that I’ll carry with me forever. This experience has taught me resilience, independence, and how to truly believe in myself. It hasn’t always been easy, but that’s what makes reaching this stage feel so rewarding. I would not say this university is good. I would tell people to avoid it! My friends' dissertation advisors have been ignoring them and for one of my modules, regardless of the fact it was a video presentation- you can tell she was obviously bias in her marking. Would not recommend. Also vaping in the library when its not allowed and the university staff will do nothing about it but if we want to play a card game in the non silent area, the staff will get angry. read more

My campus is Regent St. I’m happy with my campus as it is central and there are plenty of things to do and to go to. The only thing I’m not entirely happy with it’s the student relaxation area which must be redesigned and reorganised. It looks so old and tired.. There is a nice area, where Starbucks is- downstairs, but it’s always busy with events or crowded. Career support, I find it hard to navigate the website. read more

There are some strong societies at the university; my experience has not been the best however. Although I applied to a good few, not too many accepted me and the process to join was tedious. The rock-climbing society didn't get back to me at all despite me trying, and the photography society is the only one I actively participate in, although we don't do many extracurriculars. The social scenes on the university aren't great at all compared to many, like the student bars only being open every other Monday for a clubbing night. The wifi can be patchy at times and the grounds themselves aren't perfect, but they are overall pretty solid and accessible. The quality of the education is my biggest gripe. The professors of course vary but I've has dome lecturers who do not engage at all within small classes and end up handing out marks for assignments months after they were due in. It can also be tricky to know who to contact or find out how. The DLS team is very understaffed too. read more

my campus is quite small as it only offers two degrees, however it has all the facilities that a student needs, cafe, library and large enough classes. there are different societies based on countries and other activities. Friends are easy to make as there are classes based on group work. read more
