Communication and Media and Game Design Studies, BA Hons FullTime

These rating are not regarding the 50% game design studies side. This part of the course would be 5 stars across the board. For a reletively new course, the lectures and staff involved have nailed it. The comms and media side, however, is lacking. Staff seem uninterested, course content seems irrelevant and assignments have no correlation to content taught. Skills required to succeed are assumed to be known to students. It is in stark contrast to the games design side. read more

Film Studies and Communication and Media, BA Hons FullTime

this course has been so boring so far - hoping it improves this term and in future. way too much reading set every week - impossible to do it all as well as it not all being relevant. lecturers are generally good some exceptions but expected really. wish the content was more engaging specifically comms 102 module, seems more like english and business than media and generally uninteresting. read more
