Information Technology, BSc Hons FullTime

Overall the course so far that I have completed has been amazing, everything that we learn about has been able to be used in a project or will be used later down the line. The teaching we receive has helped people before me get jobs, and seeing older students and what they have accomplished is amazing and I feel I will be able to do this in the future. read more

Games Programming, BSc Hons FullTime

Teesside University is a pretty standard university and offers a range of courses. While there are some things left to be desired (such as better timetabling and adequate parking on campus for both staff and students), I do feel I received quality teaching from most of the staff on the BSc Games Programming course. There were some quality lecturers who would go above and beyond to assist students who may need an extra hand in understanding, as well as being empathetic to personal situations when it became difficult to balance home and Uni life (as a Mature student). I learnt a great deal towards not only programming in games, but also the fundamentals of programming which can be transferred to other departments such as software development, which I was able to do for my placement year. The majority of lecturers in the games department are easy to get along with and are always willing to help students who need it, and who ask for it. Overall, I personally had a great time during my BSc. read more
