Finding Student Accommodation

Over 14,000 students attend the University of Hull in North Yorkshire, where they have their pick of 7 different halls of residence.

As the UK's Cultural City 2017, Hull's city centre has undergone regeneration in recent times meaning there is even more reason for students to choose to study here. Pubs and bars offer pretty good value for a pint and the cost of living on average is reasonable for a city of its size. Transport links are excellent, shopping venues are plentiful and there is much to do around the city and in nearby green spaces on a free weekend or when the parents come to visit. Look out for Hull’s Old Town & Fish Trail all through the centre as well as Banksy’s art on Scott Street Bridge. Read more about Hull

The average cost of living in Hull is 7.8% less than the national average, and the average cost of accommodation is 22% lower than the national average (we've tracked costs for private and uni halls over the last 12 months).
