I wish there were an option to rathe the campus life and environment. I have been in a total of 6 school throughout my life, cross three different countries and I can say with confidence that St. Marys has THE best environment from all. Everyone is friendly and kind, the staff from teacher to kitchen and more are extremely helpful and welcoming. I decided to extend my 1 semester stay to a whole year! read more

My Journey at St Mary’s University, London My journey at St Mary’s University, London, is an important chapter in my life. After completing my BSc in Cardiac and Perfusion Technology in India, I decided to continue my education in the UK by pursuing an MSc in Chronic Disease Management. Moving to a new country to follow my dreams was both exciting and challenging. I had to adjust to a new environment, a different education system, new people and an independent lifestyle. Studying at St Mary’s has given me the opportunity to develop my knowledge and understanding of healthcare, especially the prevention and management of chronic diseases. Through lectures and learning activities, I am gaining a better understanding of patient care, health promotion, lifestyle changes and the importance of helping people manage long-term illnesses. My postgraduate experience is also teaching me to think critically, manage my time effectively and take responsibility for my own learning read more

I started at St Mary’s University, Twickenham in September 2023, studying Business Management and Marketing, expecting to finish in June 2027. ✅ What I love most - The lecturers are so supportive — they explain things clearly and always make time if you need extra help. - The campus is friendly, calm, and easy to get around. Everyone is welcoming, from staff to fellow students. - It feels like a real community — I’ve met people from so many different backgrounds, which I really enjoy. - Twickenham is a nice, safe area with good transport links into central London. read more

As an international student, my experience at university has been very positive overall. I have benefited from a supportive learning environment, helpful lecturers, and the opportunity to meet students from diverse backgrounds, which has improved my academic and communication skills. However, one area for improvement is that there are limited activities specifically for international students, especially those from South Asia. More culturally inclusive events or gatherings would help these students feel more involved and at home within the university community. read more

St Mary's University, Twickenham

I had a terrible experience at St Mary's University as an international student. I completed an MA in Education (Physical Education). The level of support provided is far below what you would expect, especially considering the high fees international students pay. What shocked me the most was that most of the lecturers teaching on the course were from Religious Studies or Theology backgrounds. There was not a single lecturer with a proper Physical Education background, which is unacceptable for a master’s-level programme. The teaching lacked subject expertise, and there was very little focus on current or updated knowledge in the field. The staff felt inexperienced for a postgraduate course, and instead of receiving advanced-level teaching, it felt very basic and disconnected from real Physical Education practice. There also seemed to be a clear bias, with more attention and comfort shown towards Catholic students, which made the environment feel unfair and uncomfortable for others. read more

My experience at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, was genuinely rewarding and full of positive memories. From the start, the campus felt welcoming and close-knit, with a strong sense of community that made it easy to settle in. The lecturers were passionate, approachable, and always willing to support students beyond the classroom. I always felt heard and involved. Academically, the courses were well-structured, with a good mix of theory and practical application. I particularly appreciated how the university encouraged critical thinking while also preparing us for real-world challenges. The resources, whether in the library, online, or through one-on-one support—were top-notch. Outside the classroom, the social life was vibrant but never overwhelming. Societies, sports clubs, and regular events made it easy to meet people and get involved. Overall a good experience. read more

St Mary's is such a lovely place to study. The campus has a warm community atmosphere as it is smaller than most other universities in the area, and students really get to know one another both through the courses they are studying and the huge range of societies and sports clubs. The highlight of studying at St Mary's for me is the small class sizes and friendly academic staff. Your lecturers get to know you on a one-to-one basis and this allows you to always get the support that you need during your degree. Furthermore, they make classes engaging with fun activities and discussions, which is so much nicer than having the lecturer stand there talking at you for 2 hours. There are also so many opportunities to get involved in, whether that be becoming a student ambassador, working on research alongside your academics or even running in the Students' Union elections. I couldn't recommend St Mary's more highly. read more
